After working in the field of Gender and Sexual minorities since 1997 I have decided to start working as a pre-licensed professional mental health clinician at NW Treatment. I completed my master's degree in psychology in 2021 when the pandemic was at its worst and it took me a while to find a positive place that honors healing, personal autonomy, and actively dismantles systems of oppression.

I feel like I found that home in Northwest Treatment and I hope that if you're looking for a qualified counsellor, you'll consider one of the talented staff. You can click on the image to the left and you'll be whisked away to look at my credentials, and how to book if needed. You can also click on the Nw Treatment logo, and you can click on the contact us from that page as well.

Psychology Today Verified

Trauma Informed

This not a buzz word or a proud nomenclature that I have latched onto during a social awareness exercise but rather a compilation of over 25 years of working with vulnerable populations like asylum seekers, persons experiencing homelessness, human trafficking survivors, post-traumatic stress spectrum, suicide prevention hotlines and volunteering with addiction services.

Intersectional

Conscious

Diversity, inclusion, equity and egalitarian values have been the bedrock principles I've worked with, helped create, and I actively work to help dismantle systems of oppression, colonialism, misogyny, racism and the like.

LGBTQIAs2+

I've been professionally working with gender and sexual minority populations since 1997. I also have been awarded several recognitions over the years for my compassion, contributions and humanitarian efforts for disenfranchised populations.
