What is Hypnosis?

Various forms of hypnosis go back as far as ancient Egypt in 1500 BC and is completely safe with someone who has at least a master's level in psychology and basic training. It is often used to help lose weight, quit smoking, help deal with identified 'bad habits' and often gets reduced to parlor tricks or reduced to something a magician does at the county fair. However, the average person experiences a version of self-hypnosis at least twice a day and has been developed as a healing modality since the 19th century.
